For most of my teenage years and early 20’s I struggled with my weight. I spent years dieting, counting calories, and feeling out of control around food. I felt frustrated, ashamed, and didn’t think I’d ever be able to eat “normally” again.
But after years of dieting, counting calories, and tracking points and macros, I realized food rules weren’t serving me any more. So I ditched ‘em. Yep, it was scary and it definitely took some time to learn to listen to my body and trust myself around certain foods again. But it was 100% worth it.
