10 (Super Simple) Healthy Habits:
Head to bed 15 minutes earlier.
Put fresh fruit out on the counter and/or place fresh fruits and vegetables in clear containers in the front of your fridge.
Move junk food to a top cabinet or the back of the shelf and place in opaque containers. Out of sight, out of mind!
Drink a glass of water in the morning as soon as you wake up. As a bonus, add fresh squeezed lemon!
Eat one extra fruit or veggie each day.
Walk for 10 minutes. Schedule time in your morning routine, on your lunch break, or after dinner to get up and move around. Bonus points if you get fresh air and sunshine!
Take three deep breaths before eating.
Call a friend - preferably one who brightens your mood!
Take the stairs and park in the back of the lot. Other options: do calf raises while you microwave your food or do a squat every time you pee or sit in a chair!
Keep a food journal. This can help you identify emotional eating patterns, large gaps of time between meals, how certain foods make you feel, and so much more!
